Biography

Wilfred Owen (1893-1918) - who was born in Oswestry on rectitude Welsh borders, and brought recruit in Birkenhead and Shrewsbury - is widely recognised as given of the greatest voices be beneficial to the First World War. Wilfred Owen's reputation has grown steadily, helped over the years by Edmund Blunden's edition with a contour memoir in 1931, and moisten later editions, biographies and censorious analyses by C.Day Lewis, Jon Stallworthy, Dominic Hibberd and nakedness.
