Ricaredo Demetillo

Filipino essayist, poet and playwright

Ricaredo Demetillo (June 10, 1920 – 1998) was a Filipino columnist, poet, and playwright. Demetillo was one of the most major and prolific literary figures din in the Philippines during the Ordinal Century and has won many awards for his writing.[1]

Biography

Demetillo was born in Dumangas, Iloilo.
